Some touristy questions- (1) Were you roaming, hot spotting, or did you buy a Namibia mobile service provider sim card? (2) How bad are the bank charges when you use an SA bank card in Namibia?

(1) I was using WiFi and hot spotting for the most part. A little too lazy to get a sim card but I definitely would recommend you do if you solo travel for obvious reasons 😅 (2) for payments in restaurants and stores the charges were standard However, when I withdrew Namibian dollars from a general ATM I was charged about R50 so I recommend withdrawing all the cash you may need in one go (which is what I did without planning to) 😅

Great video, very informative I’m traveling to Namibia in two weeks landing in Windhoek. Traveling to the coast how much did yo spend on the airport transfer and are there taxis available to get around?

The shuttle service from Windhoek to Swakopmund was called Carlos tours if I’m not mistaken and it cost 300 Namibian dollars for one way trip. They pick you up and drop you off at the exact location you request which is very convenient.
