He was the coolest president, transparent, honest, frank and cheerful. Its sad that he is gone forever. The best president Namibia ever had. Our beloved president. He will forever be in our hearts. He embraced the freedom of speech and inclusivity. He surely did his part.

The one man that was the most prepared and groomed for the position of president ever! An academic and intellect with a full understanding of the world affairs, a Pan-Africanist who has served at UN, a chairman of the constitutional assembly for drafting the Nam constitution, prime minister, minister of trade, and selfless activist of peace and justice…he just had to end up as president!

Namibia so far is better thn some African countries how ever we have our challenges as a nation, what the state has to boost is Agricultural industrial, education, healthcare etc....boosting Agriculture is for our food security so we cut much relying on SA and other foreign countries... Those tht are condemning decision of Namibia taking up army against apartheid SA are out of their senses...Apartheid SA made much damage on our country and it was our resources that build our SA, if SA could have used those resources to build and prepare SWA's independent we could be much better... Other concern is SA still owns much of resources including productive land thus our Agricultural sector not productive as we wish...

NAMIBIAN HAS DONE NOTHING SINCE 1990 ON COMMODITY AND FOOD SUPPLY . SOUTH AFRICA IS THE BRAIN OF NAMIBIA , NAMIBIA IS JUST EATING WITHOUT KNOWING WHERE FOOD IS COMING FROM. NAMIBIA HAS NO MONEY , SOEs HAS SINK DOWN(NO MONEY) , TREASURY HAS NO MONEY , NO MORE CAPITAL PROJECT, ALL HAS BEEN STOPPED (STATE IS CAPTURED) MR PRESIDENT YOU ARE pimping SADEC WITH BAD NAME BY COLONIZING CAPRIVI STIP , SOUTH AFRICA WILL SOON CUT FOOD SUPPLY TO NAMIBIA AND CLOSE ALL ITS ENTERPRISE , WHY DO DE MARINE TAKING YOUR DIAMOND ?why namibia does not have a constitution , everything in your country is Court , what is the use of national Assembly ,that your state keep westing state fund keeping your few ppo in poverty , two million is nothing mr. pls solve issue of caprivi strip and SADF troops , they are blacks like you.law maker are part of judicially use them by applying constitution if you have but namibia look like it does not have constitution. the human right advocate say you have CAPRIVI ZIPFEL ACT , namibia is funny very funny if you were part of central africa , jar

Captivi acutely Zambezi will always will be Namibian and there is no so called conflict happening there, as we are living in most peaceful time in history there is no need to create chaos for the benefit of foreign imperialist that would go against our common interest if internal political instability where to happen (look at our northern african brothers that have fallen under that trap) , you should set aside your tribalistic ideals as they hinder development in all sectors of society in Namibia one Namibia one nation!.

i am not talking about unite or conflicts , i am talking about territory, caprivi strip and swa-namibia is two separate territory, caprivi is under africa not under namibia, in your country namibia there is act of parliament called caprivi zipfel act read it .caprivi is a special treat to namibia, AU know that , namibia know that, namibia has nothing all you claim is yours is for our country south africa , even banana you depend to south africa to supply you, take a good example of sweets and candles or firewood we have to supply your country , its a useless state , your population is 30 % of location we call soweto in south africa, meaning we can accommodate namibia to live in soweto location and we still have houses remain open think think

tyesie pinto ; You are a butt hurting person, whose clueless with reality. You are not even SA because if you are an SA then you would know better. In 1991 Namibia gained her freedom from SA. Namibia has her own economy, Namibia finance her own projects. What do you mean Namibia depend on SA? Stupid dude, you are a Caprivi butt hurting separatist leaving in central Africa or Europe. Get the facts in your ass, Zambezi will forever be part of Namibia.

The Namibian house is not for all namibians as presumed but for certain selective namibians. Let us take the issue of Plan fighters and the demobilised Swatf soldiers who were all classified as war veterans by the SIPE company/organization. Are these people being treated equally? Let the STA find out on this matter.

“One Namibia, One Nation.” Well, many of us know that this outlook was adopted by SWAPO from President Kenneth Kaunda's slogan of “One Zambia, One Nation.” Although many of us have been made to adopt this outlook, we know that it is easier said than done in light of our turbulent post-colonial history of tribalism and ethnic manipulations by the politicians of African countries' ruling parties. In light of my multi-ethnic background I am opposed to tribalism. However, I think that President Geingob is misinformed about the right of Namibian ethnic groups to exit and practice their cultural traditions. I don't think that President Geingob will be successful with his goal to make Namibian ethnic groups disappear with the so-called house that he is building for that purpose. President Geingob must be told that it is wrong to try to make our ethnic group disappear or to depict as tribalism the right of Namibian ethnic groups to practice and retain their ethnic identities as Ovambos, Hereros, Kavangos, Basters, Coloreds, Tswana, Damaras, Saan, Nama, etc. The right to value the cultural identities of Namibian ethnic groups should not be conflated and/or depicted as incompatible with a new Namibian national consciousness that must now be cultivated.
