Dear Nami. I just wanted to thank you. I have only discovered your videos this week and they have helped me greatly with my depression. Watching your videos made me take some small (but still difficult) actions in my life. One more thing: You made me realise that doing things slowly does not mean you are stupid or inadequate, it just means you are doing it mindfully thus, doing it better. And also i think it means you generally respect whatever it is you are doing and, respect yourself too. Wish you all the best 💝

Hi Nami ! Glad to see you again. 😊 Just an advice I got from my mother when she used to work as a florist: avoid watering plants leaves, apparently it can make it easier for illnesses to spread. I don't know if it's true but just wanting to let you know just in case ❤️
@carols80902 жыл бұрын
Plant leaves get rained on regularly - I don't get it.

So you don't even know if it's true and yet you call it an advice? I seriously don't understand the point of this comment.
@mememe21052 жыл бұрын
You don’t water the leaves because they get burned when the sun hits them, different than a rainy day
@neonspookify2 жыл бұрын
She's right, though I think it's not a common problem! Watering from up high can cause water to hit the soil and splash the leaves which is a problem if the soil carries any leaf-effecting bacteria/fungus, as they can get carried via the splash. Yes rain can cause this too, and one of the reasons mulch is used is to help avoid this. The main example I know of is septoria and tomatoes.

I love soup in Autumn, any kind to. I love to add fresh grated cheese on top with a warmed piece of bread. A small side dish of Sicilian olives or a pickled vegetable to round out the meal. Dessert would have been cream puffs or eclairs with a small espresso. I think I'll make this for Sunday dinner, thank you Nami I so enjoy starting my Saturday with your company. Have you ever eaten spaghetti squash? Is it readily available in Japan? My family really enjoys it. We eat it like pasta with a variety of sauces. It’s lighter than pasta (like zucchini noodles, or “zoodles”) if you use a fork to pull out the flesh after it’s been steamed it comes out in strands, just like spaghetti. Since you like veggies so much and you enjoy pasta, I thought I’d mention how great it is. I recommend watching some videos on how to prepare it best and how to remove the “noodles” so they come out as long as possible and you’ll love it I’m sure. It’s so delicious!! :)
