As a member of NAMI Maryland and NAMI Carroll County I am incredibly proud that NAMI National chose to use footage from our walk in Baltimore!! Great work!

I'm from Baltimore. But the NAMI here in Baltimore has not supported me for years. So I do things on my own.

Is there any Nami walks in Arkansas? If so I would definitely be interested. I struggle with mental illnesses but trying to make the best of it. Great video thanks!

Hi Saigen Rose, last year's Arkansas NAMIWalk was in October, I don't see a 2020 walk listed yet, but you'll be able to sign up once it's posted or find other walks at www.namiwalks.org/

There's no such thing as bipolar...there's a real difference between a schedule and lifestyle based effect on you and a neurolgical disorder...it's so convenient that it's always deferment...you can't get the terms right because only doctors have them..then switch..doctors are people...then switch doctors are students of the world...then switch...it does that over and over! Because it's a support structure of occupation...another proof that it's all income based...even if you volunteer...they keep the poor too because they need a switch for everything you say about it! I enjoy support...I need it...but I disagree with lifestyle being judged as a neurolgical platform..it is developmentally...but people want that..need that...and that's not a neurological disorder...I really disagree with how thin the line between the handicapped and the non handicapped is...that's really unfair to alot of people...and the handicapped aren't the ones doing the work...and doing the struggling with healthcare and legal systems..and politics...they're living a life..hard..okay...unfortunate..okay...but doing all the work that's being done no..so I don't appreciate being played or playing people because of how hard our job is..or MY job for my personal position..opinion or not...it's a big field...full of variety...awesome...but it's also one where you can see how unfortunate we are to witness the abuse of society because of how much it disagrees with being mistreated...it defeats itself ..but when saved it doesn't save itself? That's what it looks like....but ...that's just one way to see it...so complex that it actually makes you retire and give up...conform or continue to complicate because of complexity...it's hard to orient all the time...because it's so easy to turn everything into a resourced application for a specific job so you don't have to say the wrong thing...it's effective because of that...but it looses it's voice because of the work it does....because it's about caring for people with real problems...and problems are problems...they are states...real disorders...real handicaps...are states...not opinions... unfortunately opinions have attacked...so...it's hard to clean that out and do the work...
