tvN 수목드라마 ‘남자친구’(연출 박신우, 극본 유영아)의 세 번째 OST인 용준형의 ‘망설이지 마요’는 드라마의 음악감독인 '남혜승' 음악감독이 참여, 밴드스타일의 반주에 감미롭게 펼쳐지는 벌스를 시작으로 경쾌한 멜로디와 리듬의 조화가 인상적인 곡으로, 드라마의 남녀주인공 수현(송혜교 분)과 진혁(박보검 분)의 설레이면서도 다가가지 못하는 감정을 솔직한 담아냈다. 제작진은 이번 OST에 맞는 새로운 목소리를 찾아 고심하던 중 용준형이 과거 한 음악 프로그램에 출연해 감미로운 무대를 선사한 영상을 우연히 접했고, 그의 숨겨져 있던 음색에 끌려 러브콜을 보내 ‘망설이지 마요’를 완성하게 됐다는 후문이다. 특히 ‘망설이지 마요’는 용준형이 5년여 만에 참여한 tvN의 OST인 동시에, 지난 12일 5회 방송분의 엔딩에서 흘러나와 더욱 관심이 쏠리고 있다. 용준형은 썸타는 사이의 연인들을 연상케 하는 노랫말을 허스키하면서도 감미로운 특유의 음색으로 선보여 ‘남자친구’의 애청자들은 물론 리스너들의 마음까지 사로잡을 전망이다.

Junhyung is an excellent rapper that people forgot that he sings so well too. If you watched MTV Beast, he's the only one praised without bad comments from their voice instructor.
