I shipped namjin a lot but I want to point out one thing. As a frequent traveler( I travel to at least 3-5 country every month), it’s not that weird to have a watch not match the local time. For me, I will always keep my watch in HongKong time and set my cell phone in local time. So it’s easier for me to communicate with people in Hong Kong and easier for me to fight jetlag. As you can see most of the time when Jin was confuse, he wasn’t in Korea. So I think he may have the same habit like me. I do think their watches are couple items tho. Namjin is always the sweetest❤️

If it’s true the rolexes are something symbolic for them, it’s just my assumption that it might’ve been joon’s idea and it’s a smart choice. Jin rarely accessorises so it’d draw attention if he suddenly started wearing one ring regularly. And even if he doesnt wear watches all that frequent, it’s something Jin would eventually need and it would definitely be useful. I see u joonie.

I have a bracelet I wear a lot, because it always makes me think of when my friend gave it to me, and it's a moment that can help sooth my anxiety when it flares up. And when I'm nervous or anxious, I end up playing with it, fiddling with it, usually unconsciously, because it brings me comfort. I feel like that's similar to how Jin treats the watch, especially in the clip about to go onstage. Whether or not it's a couples thing, or a friend thing, maybe even it wasn't meant to match but was a style Joon liked and gifted to him, there is some kind of importance Jin has in it, it means something to him. Just like Kore (and potentially RJ), there is an importance Jin has put on the item. And considering Namjoon hasn't somehow lost or broken his, when he has been through (probably now more than) 34 airpods and lost the ring Yoongi bought him, and how easy it would be to leave it in a hotel accidentally, he finds it important too.

Hers’s my research. The movement of Day-Date Rolex is “perpetual, mechanical, self-winding”. It means if the owner doesn’t wear it for a while, it will lose power. Jin may not adjust the watch on purpose when he wears it, and this explains why Jin’s expensive watch doesn’t tell the right time. It is also saying Jin wears it for special occasions with special purpose, eg when couple demonstration needed💕💕ps, hobi also has an expensive watch but it is of a different luxury brand (AP, I think). Just think about how Joon and Jin actually have their own fashion styles and item of choices, if you know what I mean, but they just randomly choose to purchase a $40k+ watch of the same brand and the same line?
