i feel like he'd do that with good intentions, though. in the kpop industry, the teenagers are the lead demographic, and i don't want to offend anyone here, but some teens are really obsessed with their idols, so wouldn't it make sense for the leader to cover up anything that doesn't seem platonic? if you were the leader of an idol group, and there are some member ships going around your fanbase, i don't know about you, personally, i'd find it funny and fascinating, but that's just me. so you're okay with that, but there's one leading ship that everyone loves. the one thing you would not want to do is throw any members under the bus, so you don't correct who is closer, you don't even acknowledge it for the hilarity. then, you see two members- one is part of the main ship- but one is not, and everyone would surely go into a war about this if they found anything. they're simply holding hands, but there's one problem- one member hates skinship. shit. people would get suspicious over this, you better just cover it up as best you can. makes perfect sense in theory, he just doesn't do a good job of making sure people don't get suspicious of //him, if this is what's happening and i'm right.

ghostie cake really makes sense what you say, Namjoon is the one that is most attentive to the boats so generally the time in the background observing the interaction, but do not get to interrupt them when they are the main ships (Yoonmin, vkook, jikook, etc. ) but also the few popular match ships like the taegi, sope or taejin, etc, the only match that interrupts or tries to maintain a minimal interaction or sometimes makes it nervous so to say it is the yoonkook, this I confirm both this video and many other matches where Namjoon observes their interaction, it's not as if he hates their interactions if I do not see him becoming more alert when the camera catches yoonkook moments, it's still a total mystery to me why he puts it so nervous.
