Great guitars I've had many over the years...I just bought a 1992 EF 360 MC plays great one owner other than me. Best stage guitars ever.

I love how he talks about the second and third ones without saying which model is which...

Kinda bugged me too! I think this was just an on the fly unscheduled interview, where Tom just sort of flew by the seat of his pants, and gave the folks a Quick Look, at what was new…second one was the 450c I think? 😂 Cheers

That OM seems just about right. Anyone viewing this that may have played one? If so how is it? Thanks.

guitaroidman524 According to whom and what metric are you using? If it is personal preference you need to zip it. Also, the word you should use isn't 'there' it is 'they're'

guitaroidman524 Why are you assuming I am talking about Taylor or Martin OR saying that the top shelf Takamine guitars aren't great guitars?
@LegitBobsYourUncle8 жыл бұрын
+guitaroidman524 Man I tried out a P5NY Nex Cutaway and than tried a Taylor 214 CE DLC K and the Taylor was better sorry. Identical price difference was that the Taylor spent less money jazzing the guitar up and focused on making it sound good. On the other hand the Takamine looked cooler but didn't play as well. Taylor, Gibson and Martin are a step up from Takamine.

guitaroidman524 Guitars sound different when they are played over a long time to when they are bought. My Taylor is bright but not that tinny and it resonates a lot more now. When comparing what I mentioned above, the neck on the Taylor a better finish was used it didn't stick when I played, It had a simple preamp, the Takamine had a over complicated pre amp which you do not need, we have guitar amps for that very reason to adjust things. When you have to look at everything when your buying it. Some people only care about sound which is fine but that's your choice.

guitaroidman524 Not a lot of professional musicians use the preamp it is it all controlled at the main board. Maybe if your a one man show but any event you go to now concert, gig, pub they have a main stand that is less complicated and a lot easier to use than the preamp takamine offer. I just looked at it and was confused Taylor had three knobs which is fine for me because that is for the 99 per cent of the time all you actually need.

LOL, first off most of them played are OMs not dreads, and the sound was being recorded by a video Mic and a handheld Mic...obviously you've never heard other brands played on the fly at NAMM without proper recording mics.
