Bob Clearmountains mix of Woman In Chains by Tears For Fears is the greatest mix ever... The Roxy music Avalon mixes really shaped the sound of the 80s. He is such a humble guy for being one of the greatest mixers ever.

You absolutely ROCK ON THE FLY!! After The Love Is Gone blew me away. You did a Super Awesome Interview with Bob. I am such a great fan of him and you talked about CHIC!! My favorite all time band. You asked about the detail of his recording sessions with drums and cool technic used. Bernard Edwards MusicMan Bass and how humble he was. Clearmountain was also the first engineer to record those low bottom end frequency on records and “Dude That’s Low”. Bob is the best and you did such an awesome interview with him. I’ve waited more than 40 years to see something like this!! Thank you Claudio, Sumbi

Claudio, I'm Italian. I am 38 yo and kinda decent bass player. I do some electronic music, I am a huge fan of the electronic of the past. Now, what I say to you is just a BIG thanks. I am following you for a long time and you are an infinite source of inspiration. You gave me the spark to create my own recording studio. Ok, I'll never be good at playing like you, nor so fantasioso but I don't care. I just want to play, have fun with it. You are truly inspiring. For sure one of the best YT channels out there. Thanks again man. Cheers from the south!

Awesome perspective and insight from Bob Clearmountain. So if we fast forward the clock to say year 2040, Today's music producers will be asked: "wow, how did you tune the wireless mouse to click so fast in the Ableton DAW ? " or " wow, how did you get 22 VST plugins to process 24/196 audio in under 2 minutes ? " or "wow, how were you able to line up all 256 tracks without any quantization"

quality interview I've still got my Bob Clearmountain Drums 1 / 2/ perc and bass sample CDs from the early 90s, - loved the Noble and Cooley piccolo snare, nasty with some compression and overdrive, - best acoustic drum samples available for many years...

Why haven't you been to the Korg booth yet? Namm 2020 was last week and they had the cloned ARP 2600 there! I really want to see it! I would love to buy one but I ain't got £3400 for one. Im saving my money for a second hand Korg OASYS which is going to be around £3000, but for the money its excellent! The Korg Arp 2600 is a six voice and Behringer announced at Namm that they are bringing out a monophonic 2600, but haven't said what price point they are going for. Claudio did you go to the Behringer booth? I ain't going to waste over £1000 on a only monophonic synth. Whats the point?
