Chris is the best in making demo's that actually explain an instrument

That has to be the best piano sound I have ever heard from kurzweil.👍

I hope they bring this level of user friendliness to future versions of the flagship synths (pc4/2xxx-series).

Great video, PMC! Really cool to see. :) _Really_ funny to see the Studiologic right there next to it; Kurzweil really seem to have taken at least some design/interface cues from the Numa X! Definitely curious about how ATST is going to shake out through to production. The info up on Kurzweil's site on the SP7 indicates a TP100LRG, so I still have both eyes firmly on the Numa GT. At the right price point, though, this looks like a really promising entry back into the digital piano market, much less confused than a lot of their other branding/lines. I love Kurzweil, but I wonder if Marketing, Design, and Engineering have ever once agreed on what they're doing since Ray was at the helm?

Good finally kurzweil came with touch screen
@lordbachus2 жыл бұрын
atleast someone is moving forward, the interface is very nice... specs are low end ... and the engine is a step backward in flexiblity versus Vast, but seems much more accessible and better fitting for a stage piano

Fascinating - should answer lots of critics of Kurzweil not being particularly forward looking. Personally, I’m still aspiring to owning my first Forte…!!

The Forte really looks great (Full]. I have the SP6 which I am starting to think is the gateway drug as there is a lot to like yet some things I really really miss that the full Forte appears to adress.

This is very alfa judging by the 3 switches on the top left. Still looks very sleek and sounds amazing.

How do you use the transpose button on it

Onboard speakers? I am looking at replacing my Roland RD-88. Can you load sounds from the Kurzweil library, such as KB3 organ etc?

Why kurzweil is not releasing 61 keyboard version? Then it would be great among many musicians..
@DerikPiano2 жыл бұрын
It needs a lite version of the KB3. You cannot have generic sounding organs in a keyboard like this.

This looks like a real interesting instrument. Pity that Kurzwiel abandoned Canada and stopped selling their keyboards here about 10 years ago. I wonder why?

That screen in the K2700!
@mrdavies78942 жыл бұрын
Personally, I prefer the smaller, non-touch screen on the K2700. Kudos to Kurzweil for consistently offering a free sound editor/librarian (typically courtesy of SoundTower) that can help make the menu dives a lot shallower, &c. For an on-instrument display, I'm a big fan of the minimalist approach. A large, fancy touchscreen makes sense on something like a high-end Waldorf (drawing waves, spending lots of time doing detail work in the studio, &c), but when I'm taking my Kurzweil out night after night, a big fancy touchscreen is a magnet for an easy way to brick your whole board. The smaller screen is still breakable, of course, but a) probably still readable and b) little if any additional loss of functionality to the rest of the instrument!

True about having the screen on the K2700. Makes me think if they'll make an upgraded model some time in the near future with this screen.
