I am Johnny Corn, a veteran Stand Up Comic from the San Francisco Bay Area of the USA. I have had the great fortune to work with Vasu and the honour of calling her my friend. She is in prison in India as we speak. These charges are baseless and politically and or financially motivated. Every stand up performance I perform I am wearing a shirt that says "free Vasu".... I created a # tag #Freevasu . I am posting videos of Vasu on Johnny Corn Facebook fan page and on my twitter @comicJohnnyCorn so people can learn who she is. This interview is her in a nutshell. What happened is she created a non profit in California using the name of an environmentalist from India. This was in 2003 or so. She was performing in India and was arrested on Fraud and forgery charges. They asked her for millions of dollars to make it go away.
