1:11 "You seem more still" RIGHT BEFORE THE CHORUS WAS BRILLIANT!! I HAVE CHILLS!!!! And the silence (in terms of voiceovers) at 1:57 after "Wait what telegram?" was so well done too!! It fit so well with the impact those words had on Nan. I also freaking love how you used their speeches throughout this vid and how the clips intensified along with them! I feel like I always say this, but you really are so incredibly talented, and I'm in constant awe of it.

i literally did take this video as a sign to watch the show- binged it- and absolutely fell in love with these characters and this world! god, i love this whole thing but the way you put together their first meetings and showed the staircase dance, that's what first got me to be like 'hmm need to check this show out'. the entire video is soooo good, thank you for making it!

Unpopular opinion for Nan and Theo shippers: Theo says his whole life is about power and no control. He is loved for what he is, not for who he is, like Guy, and that makes him jealous of him. I really believe he loves Nan for how she makes him feel (maybe a sort of escape?), but it is not the right love, right now he controls his surroundings, Nan and Guy of course, because that is the one thing he has been trying to do his whole life, to have his life in his own hands, to have control over his own life, in case he never has or maybe can, because he is a Duke. After watching this episode, I am really in love with Nan and Guy, because their love is real, complicated and confusing, but real. Yes, I was really enamoured by this episode! I loved the dialogues and the scenes!

exactly, i feel like he would've "fallen" for any american girl with similar personalities to nan. but i think that guy is really in love with nan specifically. and it will definitely be going downhill for nan and theo after this and after she sees theo's actual day-to-day lifestyle as a duke.

I’ve read the book. In the book, I’m more of team Guy/Nan. In the series, I’m more of Theo/Nan. Both are very much in love with Nan in both the book and the series. Guy in this series isn’t fighting for what he really wants and sometimes backs out (compared to the book). Theo knows what he wants, and he’s really fighting for Nan since day 1.
