i love nana sm, its one of my favourite mangas, and yeah nana rlly does well in making the characters human, with human emotions. When I heard ppl where getting annoyed with hachi like from the viewers, it was weird too me, bcs hachi and takumis relationship was very obviously grooming bcs of the power dynamic between the two of them. even at the start with the hookups hachi felt it was hard to say no ad just went along with anything, at least this was how a interpreted hachi and takumis relationship. and yeah i totally agree with what you said in the end all i really wanted was for nana and hachi to raise there kid together, living together. Hachi and nana are soulmates and whether you see them as romantic or platonic is up to you (even though it is hinted to be romantic, just unable to happen bcs of there circumastances). and this was a rlly great video :))

it’s also good to mention that takumi basically r*pes hachi during the strawberry glasses scene and their entire relationship is based off an awful power dynamic it’s sad and makes me sympathize w hachi even more

To me, Hachi always came off as a lesbian with serious comphet. It’s like she only liked the idea of men and being a housewife, but was never truly attracted to them. I think was was just attracted to the comfort, because she is an incredibly lonely individual. I think she’s way more in love with Nana O. more than any other man. The Nana’s love for each other transcends any relationship on the show. They’re constantly thinking of each other.

I thought the SAME EXACT thing, I thought her falling in love with unavailable men is seriously a sign of comphet. She wants nothing to do with guys except for attention and maybe fulfilling love...? ( but in the form of love)

On your last note when you said that you kinda wish that they never met since they would never of had to leave each other but nana said ‘loving someone is never a waste’ therefore meaning she doesn’t regret it

This video was very well put together I don’t think I’ve ever watched a character analysis video from start to finish until I just watched this. You should definitely make another one on Nana talking about the relationship dynamics between Shin and Reira or even Ren and Nana O. I feel like ppl really glorify those two relationships despite them being extremely unhealthy. But in all I’m glad you saw that Hachi choosing Takumi was the best option for her child. Most ppl don’t understand that Nobu just couldn’t be a father to her child no matter how much he really loved and cared for Hachi.

I wish more ppl would look into Ichinose Takumi as a well-written complex character instead of being the jerk of the story, there is a chapter that covers the backstory of Takumi while growing up in a dysfunctional family...

Eh that never justified anything for me. If anything I could understand he's circumstances but still hate him. He suppressed he's so called feelings down for "Reira" because he didn't want to "taint her" whereas he tainted and harassed every other girl instead ( although some girls knew but only wanted attention from him) . The last part was very sad, he knew what he was doing was bad and was self aware later in he's life but like he never made any changes. He's cheating obviously comes from attachment issues and trying to push away Reira while sleeping with other girls to avoid the "void" feeling he feels at times..

Nana k gets on my nerves sometimes. I like her but her naivete gets on my nerves. I wanna synthesize with her but she did it to herself in the end. Having unprotected sex is a huge No No. That's commen sense. She had mutliple options. 1. Have an abortion or 2. Give the baby up for adoption or 3.raise the child on her own. i complete understand why she she chose him she gets to live in luxury and be pampered housewife she always wanted. However she does get some kharma she not really happy in her marriage she is mostly with him because he can provide a great lifestyle for her and her child I am sure their is love there to extent and he cheats on her all the time.remember when she had an affair with the married guy and now it's come full circle.

It’s not karma for her, yes she is really naive but she was groomed by the married man. And even raped by him. He was in his 30s meaning he was well aware of what he was doing while hachi was a young naive teenage girl. And yes having unprotected sex is a huge no no but she never wanted to sleep with takumi most of the time she just did it bc she felt like she couldn’t say no. And when she finally did say no she got raped….
@joelprince4170
@joelprince4170 2 жыл бұрын
@@jenniferv3916 yes it is kharma she knew full wear what she was doing. She knew he was married but she still continued to sleep with a married man she just didn't care and as far her current marriage it's her kharma she just could have been broke it off with him along time ago even before she got pregnant but she chose to stay because she wanted a carefree life she weak not because she wants to be a stay at home wife but because she didn't stand up for herself and grow a back bone. you wanna talk about rape tumkumi raped her while Nana was still while she was pregnant what nana and that married man was consensual sex.
@jenniferv3916
@jenniferv3916 2 жыл бұрын
@@joelprince4170 yes she knew he was married but it doesn’t matter in this case, she was a young naive teenage girl and he was a 30 year old man who GROOMED her. He was a sick pedo who took advantage of a young girl who wanted love. And yes it was rape because it was statutory rape since he was a 30 year old man having sex with an underage girl. Literally illegal and search up the definition of groomed that’s literally what happened to her. And her having unprotected sex with takumi isn’t totally her fault. He was at fault too. And from the scenes u can tell she wanted to say no but felt like she couldn’t say no to him and once she did he fucking raped her so it most likely would have happened during the beginning of their “ relationship “. Yes, she had the option to abort her baby but nana called her out on that without ever knowing she was pregnant. So she finally did a MATURE thing for once and held herself accountable.
