Nana Patole : "मी एक राष्ट्रीय पक्षाचा कार्यकर्ता आहे. मुख्यमंत्रिपदाचा चेहरा कोण याबाबतचा निर्णय हायकमांड घेते. मला पक्ष संघटनेची जबाबदारी मिळाली आहे. ती पूर्ण करुन काँग्रेस पक्षाला महाराष्ट्रात विजय मिळवून देणे हे माझे काम आहे. मी कार्यकर्ता म्हणून काम करतो. मी नेता म्हणून काम करत नाही. त्यामुळे हायकमांड जे निर्णय घेईल, तो आम्हाला मान्य असेल. पक्षाला मोठं करणं ही माझी जबाबदारी आहे", असे काँग्रेस प्रदेशाध्यक्ष नाना पटोले म्हणाले. ते एबीपी माझाशी बोलत होते.

नाना पटोले म्हणाले, देशाच्या राजकारणात काँग्रेसचे आगळेवेगळे महत्व होते आणि राहणार आहे. हे कोणाला लपवता येणार नाही. भाजपला राज्यपातळीवर नेत्यांना संपवायचं आहे. बाळासाहेबांनी निर्माण केलेल्या शिवसेनेला त्यांनी फोडलं. पवार साहेबांनी तयार केलेल्या राष्ट्रवादीलाही त्यांनी फोडलं. त्यावेळी आम्ही भूमिका घेतली यांना सोबतच घ्यायचे. त्यांनी आमच्यापेक्षा जास्त जागा मिळवून घेतल्या, असा दावाही पटोले यांनी केला.
