yes. i'm constantly in awe that right now, within seconds, I can listen to virtually any song _ever_ recorded, for free, in my own apartment. it's easy to take for granted because we're so used to it now, but it truly is amazing. I grew up in the 90s so I remember a time without internet: buying CD's from the store, portable cd players that skipped if you even slightly bump it and ran out of batteries way too fast, CD's that won't play because they got a few scratches on them, so much more...😂

I love the sound of koto but also I have always admired the Japanese vocals. There are so much dynamics in them, so much vibrato at specific moments. I think that the Japanese folk singing is not trivial. There is so much logic behind it. I am really impressed. Great album!

Thanks, now I know it's Koto. Sharp and flat notes make this style special, a feeling of sadness and uncertainty overtakes listeners. Been influenced by it since a little boy.
