Roaring is HIBIKI (響), thunderous is RAIU (雷* in Japanese, one letter is often read as Kaminari or Rai and Ikazuchi, but his name is RAIU), and Hazy is Kasumi (霞). In other words, the three names are in the lyrics, and they are emotional! Incidentally, kasumi (霞), ikazuchi (雷), and hibiki (響) exist for Japanese ships. It is thought that these words were chosen from natural phenomena that Japanese people consider beautiful. In other words, the three names are very beautiful.

I had the hardest time differentiating their voices tbh and like your description says, Cloud and Kasumi do sound really similar early on TT TT (the MV was amazing but also didn't help too much with distinguishing who's singing 😅)

You're welcome!! I was paying extra attention to that early part after Cloud's solo, the lines really sound like Kasumi's but the MV showed Cloud instead in 0:31... The MVs only highlight whose voice is dominant lol
