Lee Krick Well, they shared core political belief...both are very left wing. It’s no accident that Nanci wear a Lyndon Johnson campaign button when she performs. I’m not making any judgements here. I love her music and always made sure to see her perform. In fact, I check for her regularly and her website. There has been no public activity since 2012 from her. I hope she’s ok.

I am in a FB Group called The Nanci Griffith Fan Group and I have read on there that she retired due to something with her hands. Not positive if it is absolute truth. Join up and read some of the posts and daily interactions!! Some of Nanci's past bandmates are in the group.

I am also in that facebook Group "The Nanci Griffith Fan Group" - maybe from Italy I will be the only one or maybe we count on the fingers of one hand - and in fact what is known is that dear Nanci had these problems with her hands for several years. I add that it has all my human understanding because I can't even imagine for a great artist like her who loves her fans, how painful it is to stay away from a stage.

Nadeem, Nanci as well as a good singer and a skilled songwriter, is also a good guitarist, so I guess is limiting to her to know to go on stage without being able to play for hand problems...I think, then exactly do not know
