(Just my personal thoughts btw) I think that maybe Nancy had other lives and they met in each one of them or some of them? Other thought was that maybe they kept meeting each other in there lives as friends or something else she tried to save him but couldn’t or didn’t work?

@@flewboo I’m hoping the Nace scene is like right after Ace and Nancy are affected by the poison water and not like the last few minutes of the show. Looks like there’s a bunch of opportunity for Nace action as most of the trailer scenes had them together. Also still hoping sin eater messed with those Ace memories.
