I was at this concert! At least I saw her in 1967 in Nam! My squad had the most kills in three different operations and we were privileged. my squad that is to have this glorious moment ourselves! and we had to walk 11 miles through Liberty Road by Hill 55 to see her. There were 5,000 Marines but she didn't steal the show. A group came on right before her and and sang GREEN GREEN GRASS OF HOME. I know it is about a convict but I didn't know then.We didn't know any new songs! All those days in combat and not knowing if we were ever going to see our families again probably got the best of us! You could her a pin drop and feel the emotion as it ran through our minds and bodies.! I will never forget that feeling when that group started playing it! Nine of us went, 3 got killed, three others wounded badly including myself! That was 52 years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday. I don't know if it was this particular concert but that stage looks familiar! Dedicated to my brothers, didn't mean to bore anyone!

Hello Stnmial I was in Vietnam too at this time, I was in Da Nang at the first Marine Air-Wing....but I didn't get a chance to go see Nancy ....John from North Carolina.

My Dad was also at that concert and I was able to see him sitting in front when I paused the video several times in the last 10 seconds of the video
