Love this! Super respectful of the original, yet new, fresh and its own thing. Well done all around.

Great Swinging, Tight Band! Good clear sound - not a bunch of racket like a lot of bands. Pleasure to hear!! Encore!!!

I enjoyed the performance and the soloists. It is a bit slower than we played it with Stan and also than we do it with the Stan Kenton Legacy Orchestra, but it seems to work fine for this band.

Off the fuc&*in' hook.....Stan Kenton would approve....their is still a ray of hope in this world bogged down in mediocrity. Y'all are awesome to make music that is real, such a rarity in this era...thank you

Hold it! WTF is that lame drum solo at the end doing in here?
@vaxtrpts14 жыл бұрын
I see you just love putting down bands, Garen. There was a drum solo in between those last chords for at least the last ten years that the Kenton Orchestra was on the road. And the solo is not lame!!

Hold it! WTF is a gonga drum doing in here? And why the slower tempo than the original?

Boy are you showing your ignorance of the history of the Kenton Orchestra yet again, Garen. All through the late 60' s and the 70's, Stan carried a conga player. First Effrian Loggera and then Ramon Lopez.
