She hugged Aids patients in the early 80s. Before anyone else...she loved them and hugged them as she said if anyone needs a hug it's these people....she was fearless and full of God's love I love her and if anyone should be a saint it's her

@@michaeldj5gay icon , and is this a hill song hit? No but she was a star I also think turquoise is pretty great, also, these are all songs… I’m pretty sure , you could have just done covers and Bible hymns, . But the conviction in which she says is powerful to me. I am beyond that area famous moment of her hogging, the anticipation, they have single-handedly ruined her career at the time. I find her as a person, so much more interesting than that one moment, joy, and love credit, and I just love her attitude and her mission to spread joy and love

Shelter, Clothing and Strength. My mom lost everything in a house fire once and my uncle said “there just things”. As a Christian I couldn’t agree more. Nothing materialistic matters. After all we can’t take it with us. It’s the little things to be grateful for! I am blessed and grateful.. to live another day! We’re blessed!

Me ❤I ALWAYS saw a true woman of God when I saw her. As a child I heard negative things about her but I looked at her and saw her soul. She was pure and full of Gods love in spite the war raging against her from childhood, she knew God was real in her soul. I have been strengthened in my own faith after watching this movie. ❤

I love this message and I love this woman. I still hold that she did nothing wrong. Yes, they made a lot of money, but they never pretended they didn’t and the people who were so condemning of them were not PTL partners. It was people who never went there and never sent money that were so condemning of them.

A national treasure. I believe collectively evangelicals are the new Pharisees hijacking’s Jesus and causing deception knowingly and unknowing at times and 180 degrees from Jesus love but Tammy Faye is an exception. Evangelicals crucified her and she still continued to love them and anyone in the world regardless. Who does that sound like … Jesus. You are missed her Tammy but we still feel your love spirit and all you have done here. Well done

I have one of PTL's dolls they offered for a gift. It is still in the box. I'd love to give it to someone who loves Tammy. I received a number of others and brought them to my classroom and the children loved them. After they had been used I gave them away to my children in the class. I think it had a recording if you pressed a button or something. Does anyone remember these dolls?

I always loved the PTL Club, saw it nearly every day working in TV stations back then. I never felt fleeced, and I was one of the donors that they said had been taken. Not true, speak for yourself. Jim was trying to do a great thing there and of course el diablo came out and ruined it. Those other tv preachers, Falwell in particular, I never liked after how he treated Jim and Tammy. He was a true hypocrite of a man.

We're blest, we're blest, we're blest, we are blest, we've got shelter, clothing, and strength and we are blest We're blest, we're blest, we're blest we are blest, we don't deserve it but yet we are blest Oh, we don't deserve it but yet we are blest I don't know if you've stopped to think about life, but here's what I've found to be true We always find the time to complain and be upset, but we never stop to think how we've been blest Oh, we have everything we need to enjoy our lives, and seldom have to do without Still we find it so easy to complain and cry, even though we've been blest and blest and blest Did you read in the news about the plane that fell and how all the loved ones were lost? Or do you have a friend who is sick and can't get well, if so, we should share how we've been blessed? Now do you know a little child with no food to eat and its mother and father both are gone? Well, it comes to my mind, we better stop and think of how we've been blest and blest and blest! We're blest, we're blest, we're blest, we are blest, we've got shelter, clothing, and strength and we are blest We're blest, we're blest, we're blest we are blest, we don't deserve it but yet we are blest, no We don't deserve it but yet, we are blest We're blest, we're blest, we're blest, we are blest, we've got shelter, clothing, and strength and we are blest We're blest, we're blest, we're blest, we are blest..... We don't deserve it but yet, oh, we don't deserve it but yet, no, we don't deserve it but yet, we are blest! No, we don't deserve it but yet, we are blest!

Steve Sievers to be blessed it means to be happy, the greatest happiness is to be happy in God because we have peace with God, a peace that passes all understanding. this peace is a peace that cost a great price which was paid through the precious blood ❣of God's only begotten Son Christ Jesus He is our peace.🕊

@@manthony777 yup we are blessed amongst the people in the world because Christ Jesus has redeemed us and made us His own. Blessed assurance Jesus Is Mine O what a foretaste of Glory Divine... This is an assurance that you can Only have by being born again from above. Jesus said no one can even see the Kingdoms of God unless you are born again. Being born again is a work that God does in us_ Jesus said "it is like the wind that blows wherever it pleases, and we can hear its sound but do not know from where it comes and where it goes _ and so it is with those who are born of the Spirit."

I can’t speak for nor judge either one of them, but what I can say is they were totally transparent about everything they had and their living standards all along. Their own members/partners who donated money and who visited their park never had any problem with the Bakkers or their living standard. It was people who had never set foot in their park and never given money that took issue with them. More specifically, it was Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, and the leaders of religious right that took issue with them, but it was never really about their money or their living standards. It was about the fact that they were embracing people they hated and they worried that it would expose their own bigotry and hypocrisy, so they set them up to make them look like unrepentant thieves.
