Hi Multijewelrylady. I don't love this vice but, it works well enough and does fit different sized mandrels like, bezel mandrels. Never tried the swivel vise so, I honestly can't compare. Thanks for the kind words. Hope you enjoy the next two videos!

Part 2. Buying in bulk decreases the expense. You might think of using other metals like copper, brass, bronze aluminum, steel, etc. Many people are using alternative metals today with amazing results. Try using thinner gauged metal like 22 or 24. Don't forget to save all scraps and filings to refine and get a lot of your money back on scrap. Also, pass the costs on via your pricing. When I started, silver was about 6 an ounce - I'm still in shock at the high prices. Good luck. Nancy

I am really glad to see another video of yours, especially this one which is my favorite piece of jewelry. I am really glad I checked out youtube for this wonderful, educational and inspirational video. I am doing a little down time for myself and was planning to get back in my little studio on July 11th but I don't know !!!!! Hi Glam Pixie, Are you talking about the mandrel holder? If so, it's called a turret holder or universal holder or just - mandrel holder. I got mine from Contenti. hi nancy... i was wondering if you know any website where i can find metal sheet that arent so expensive.. because i bought a metal sheet from rio grande and i got a 20gauge and it cost me over a 100dollars..i duno if that is the normal price but i feel thats too expensive.

Hi Imh, I'm assuming you are talking about silver sheet here. Fine silver sheet would be even more. Silver has been running at 35-30 an ounce. That's for unformed metal. Take into account smelting, casting, rolling, sales staff, factory costs and many other expenses after the silver is purchased. For example: Rio is charging (today) 37.50 an an ounce and silver costs 32.12. They are making 5.38 an ounce - not much. They are the cheapest I've found. Continued in comment #2
