I was away at a craft camp this wkd so just able to watch it now. I have a lot of Couture Creations foil and after using CC foil they pale in comparison. Had better results. Decided I am going to swatch them all today so I don't double up

Thanks tons, Nancy, for demo-ing the cut & foil die on the Glimmer. When I do this on the Foilpress (and I only use dies that foil and cut because I'm foiling regular dies - not quite regular because they are meant to print-with-ink and cut, but the printing surface foils beautifully - that always have a cutting edge. I watched a lot of Craig Laird's master classes for the Foilpress so I always have the (foiling) metal shim between the platform and the die when using a foil&cut die. Crafter's Companion has you put the regular Gemini metal shim (not the thicker foilpress one) on top for the die to cut into. That has not worked well for me, so I just add a cardstock shim or two between the die and the milky green plate. Foiling and cutting then take place on the same pass. Your demo shows that dies which foil AND cut can be used in the Glimmer, but the cutting takes almost the same secondary step as regular foil stamps that have coordinating dies. Boy that butterfly is pretty! Again, thank you

Shipping from Australia is not bad at all. I don't understand why some people freak out saying it cost $30, 40 or 50 to ship. If I order pizza delivered, it costs $40. It would cost me way more than $40 to go to Australia to pick up my order. I figure if I can't go pick up my order for what someone charges to ship it, it's a bargain. :)

Yes, thank you Carrie. We have no problem paying $8 in the US, so $20 from Australia? I'll take it!

I like the colored toner sheets. Don't really like the black cause you can see it under actual foiling.

Wow! The shipping from Australia is really expensive. My order was going to cost me $53.00 in shipping. I never dreamed it would cost that much.

Shipping is horrid world wide. I live in Australia and it was going to cost $59 to ship a stencil from USA

I am in Europe and when I last put my order, I had to cancel the paper that I figured out was heavy and increased consequently the delivery fees. I ordered more foil instead and stayed below 30€ in delivery which is OK considering where it comes from. I am still looking into paper option in my country.

Patricia once it converts to US$ it is less. I explained that several times. You get 20% off and then when you get to checkout and put your address in you see the AUS$ convert LOWER to US$

@@NancyStamps It didn’t convert until it went through to my PayPal account. I ended up cutting down my order and only had to pay about $20.00 in shipping. Sorry it took me so long to comprehend this conversion business.

Do you have as much success running the Glimmer plate through a Big Shot? Is there too much movement?

I had an old Big Kick that bounced. When I went to the Platinum it's much smoother.

Hi Nancy, do you have a preference or specific recommendation for the "Dusty Dust" brush ?
