Your videos have not only been the most informative and helpful, but also the most motivational. I told my husband that I want to be able to do what you do. You and I both have daughters the same age, and watching your video about Ava waking up pushes me to try to be even more successful so I can quit my public teaching job and stay home with my little girl. This video is very helpful in identifying the different types of TPR and when to use each type. Many of my beginner students also copy the TPR for repeat and say. However, I would rather them repeat all the TPR than none of it. Many of my students I have to be persistent with because they do not repeat ANY TPR. I am not sure if they do not understand I want them to repeat or if they are shy because it is a new environment. Thank you for the advice.

Good video! Three things I learned about teaching ESOL overseas: Avoid on-line TESOL courses like the plague. Many countries won't give you a visa if you have one, and many companies won't even consider you for employment if your degree was obtained on-line. Ditto for TESOL certs that are under 120 hours. (I’d go for 140 just to be safe.) Lastly, MEMORIZE Mark's English Grammar Shortcuts - saves a boat load of teaching headaches.
