This is Nanda Devi Yatra to meet her brothers and sisters on her maternal side Nanda Devi or as we lovingly call her Nandula, is actually Devi Parvati, the Daughter of the Mountains and the consort of Lord Shiva This yatra happens every 12 years The yatra starts from Lata Village and Ends at Niti Village. Maa Nanda halts at every village that comes in the way to Niti and meets the KulDevta of that village. These KulDevtas are actually Maternal Relatives of Maa Nanda. I hope it is clear to you now. Please support villages of the border because we live in such beautiful yet climatically inhabitable and harsh places so that we can prevent invasion by the Chinese. A fellow Indian Brother can contribute by one simple visit to the border village. It not only helps the nation in terms of national security, but also supports the people economically, who alongside the army bravely keep the Chinese at bay. @@charugoyal7740 Their kuldevta is Ghantakaran ji who is the gatekeeper to Lord Badrinaath and one who protects as well as governs the Land around Badrinath Dham and Mana Village. Indeed a very powerful deity in himself, he is therefore also called as KshetraPal devta who controls the land around badrinath Ghantakaran ji is called as "ghanta" because he has assumed the form of a Temple Bell and is proudly enthroned in that form at the temple of Mana Village. rebaruttrakhand.blogspot.com/2017/04/12-17-52-30.html So, their rituals are a bit different
