It's almost 65 km approx from the Bangalore city, it is preferable to take bike on the journey as you will get to witness the beautiful Nandi hill roads also called airport roads and Fogg around you and the city ride is also beautiful at night time.
The best time to visit on the hill is before sunrise to see the amazing sunrise from the sunrise view Nandi hill itself.
