An enchanting island, it preserves the historical memory of the war and those who lived it. Thanks for this interesting tour.

Luv the symbolism of the money at 3:23. The Mazu statue is an impressive sight. Whoa that tunnel was unexpected at 5:40. Friendly doggy. Lunch looked really strange. Wow more tunnels. Ha ha at 11:17. Well that was fun exploring with you guys 🤩🤩👍👍✌✌

I had to use Google Maps to see where Matsu Islands were located and wow they really area extremely close to mainland China! I can understand why the military always has to be at the ready. The islands really are beautiful. Your right, Beihai Tunnel does look something right out of a James Bond movie. That is very cool. The islands look like a wonderful place to explore and great place for a vacation. Thanks for the tour! 😊👍

Haha, your first holiday by plane and you survived the propeller ride! Love how you mix history, travel, and some epic humor: comparing bunkers to Bond villain lairs had me laughing! Can't wait to see what the night tour has in store, those blue tears sound magical. Keep the adventures coming, dears! 👏

I wonder if we have the same ' meal' , or possible thing to eat on coastline in France, called...pousse-pieds . But, I admit, it would not be my first choice. 😬 As always, your journey bring me in wonderful places , and this archipelago is really really nice. Have a great time 😊👍

This whole place is really fascinating and so beautiful. The military fort would be great to visit and the Baba tunnel making wine was a brilliant way to make use of the military tunnel. So good :) ~ Anna

A very nice holiday in a special place. I appreciate how your story is integrated into the tense situation, even though it’s not funny. Unfortunately, that’s just how things are. As always, I enjoy your storytelling.🙂🌞👋.

It's worth climbing those steep stairs to see the beautiful landscapes, see the long and well-maintained tunnel and many incredible sights of this island of Taiwan. We can really see the distance between China and Taiwan. Those sharp Agave plants :), I think they are good plants for country borders, to discourage illegal entry of people into countries. It is interesting to see the military base turned into a beautiful cafe and the Baba tunnel with wine stocks. Thanks for showing us! Have a great week!

Seeing an island I'd never heard of before was exciting! You chose a lovely spot for lunch. Wow, Taiwan is very close to China. I can see why those boats are lined up in readiness. The tunnels were fascinating to explore. I loved that one of them has been turned into a distillery! Thank you for a very cool VLOG! 👍😎

Wow, you went to the largest island there, visiting iconic places, temple, museum, beach, port, and fort as well. The stairs are carved beautifully with a giant statue overlooking the ocean. Interesting lunch, I couldn't figure that out yet looking like eagles talon. Quite unique bedroom, it's like a lux camp for the prince and princes. May the golden money bless you guys more 👍

I chuckled when you talked about the stairs because I have thought about all those stairs you've climbed on the trails in other videos. At least it keeps you in great shape. I am such an unadventurous eater, so that it is the hardest part about traveling in Asia. Chinese food in China is NOT like Chinese food in America. lol Plus, I don't eat seafood, so it's tough eating in Asia. It really is beautiful there and I would love to go through those tunnels. I want a secret evil lair too. lol Awesome tour, I enjoyed it in full. Like 31, thanks for sharing!

Mr. Welshman Wow, there is the time Taiwan and China had a difficult time as you mentioned. Have you considered before you planned this trip? Wow the military tunnels still exist. Indeed, the key to the conflict may start here or hope not. Yes, I have seen bioluminescent with pretty blue lights that are hard to describe. At night a group of fish, dolphins swim by my kayak, and they are all pretty blue. Beauty and danger cannot be separated here yet, I reckon. Well done documated. Bravo

Sadly while living in Taiwan, China was a constant threat, though local Taiwanese are pretty relaxed about it 😅 Thank you as always my friend
