When they come out with new music, they go on music shows for promotions. There’s a circuit of music shows to compete at and get wins. They film these self-made videos while waiting to perform. There’s usually a lot of down time between rehearsals and actually performing. If you look at some of the outfits they are wearing, you can tell which show they were filming at. They were promoting Scream when they filmed this one. My guess is they were bored and just started messing around and filming it and it just became these self-made vids.

Yep. Music show downtime. Whenever Dreamcatcher is bored, amazing things happen. The best example is the two-episode K-drama parody The World of Dreamcatcher (spoofing The World of Married) that exists because Siyeon and SuA were bored during Rona lockdown. That is one of the funniest most ridiculous shit I have ever seen, it is totally amazing. If you decide to watch it and haven't seen the original drama, I recommend you see the wonderful Comparison Edit (still in two parts) on imyourwolf channel, where TWoM and TWoD scenes were shown side-by-side so you can see how insanely fantastic (and fantastically insane) this was.

So they do performance stages for almost a month which is why if you look up scream performances you’ll see more than one and different outfits so every time they went to a different award show to perform they recorded this while they were waiting

There is only ONE way this could have been any better. they were missing a member because she got stuck in China due to travel restrictions because of the creepin' crudd from 2019. BUT, they are all back together now! OT7 forever! They made another similar video to this after Handong got back to Korea, it's just as corny and funny as this video with an awesome song that rocks just as hard! :)

You guys are awesome! Love that you are reacting to one of their self-made mvs so that you get to see a little more of their personalities. Their b-side game is incredibly strong imo! The majority of their songs have been produced by LEEZ and Ollounder who both help produce a lot of ATEEZ songs. Highly suggest you listen to the title tracks that follow Chase Me (debut song you guys reacted to) which start with Good Night. Also have to recommend Endless Night and Wind Blows (strong anime OP vibes).
