As a whole, this piece is about losing a loved one- in particular, a sister. Nanise's younger sister had passed away whilst Nanise was overseas. You get the gist of this from the chorus... 1:07 - 1:32 "Alu aa, alu aa ta'ahine, tau mai ai ko hala tu'u ee" is Nanise, the composer, serenading her beloved sister: literally translated as "go, go girl. You are on a one-way road/ a road which does not stop". "Alu aa, mo ke fiemalie, fiemalie pe" means "go, and feel well (free)" "toki vete ehe mate eku ofa aku iate koe" means "only death can break/stop my love for you. Hope this helps.

They're using old Tongan language in this song most of which has no English word to describe it. Even if it can be translate it wouldn't even make any sense in English lol. Easier way for you to get it is look for a Tongan who understand most of the old words here and ask them to tell you the meaning of each the sentences.

@@willyafu Thank you so much. I won't ask my Tongan friends to help me out as they will get me into trouble with their questionable translations as I have found out before the hard way, lol.
