There is 0 Handicap in the game. Also in the tweets I show you is all about PVE not pvp. He even added at the end they will most likely not add anything in to do with handicap.

it is handicapped/scripted how come almost every freaking low rated team match is really hard even if i manage to win or not lose but against tougher teams it gets better and my players are now buffed AF you can feel the inconsistency in the gameplay every match we played fifa/fc/pes we know how the script works and it all happens in UFL

This is my problem, nurfing everything while not making changes to other vital parts of the game, the meta is going to be all back and narrow def to stop down the middle attacks, people use them wing switches because other parts of the game are rubbish, like passing and when people just sit back with the whole team defending, you have to use wing passes

passes are broken... sometimes you point where you want to pass but the game decides to pass to the person who should be there according to the formation... so the pass goes to a totally different direction

Only thing im wondering is like ea fc new team every year. How will they handle this like when a player retires? Will you be refunded the rp and cp spent. Will the player stay or will there be yearly wipes? Curious

i don’t know if we’re reading the same tweets, he didn’t say they might add it to single player he confirmed the only teams that will play better if you’re outplaying them are the AI (bot) teams you face in single player. he specifically stated handicap CAN be added and might be if they want to reach a wider and more casual audience in the future. doesn’t make sense to assume he’s talking about implementing handicap in the single player modes to reach a more casual audience cuz how would making the AI opponents better appeal to casuals if they’re playing against said AI? not even being able to compete against AI would just push them away. how is handicap in PVP a good thing for any competitive game where your “skills matter” and it’s “fair to play”? i personally don’t even believe in the handicap in this game, just think the game is unpolished. i find that if anything i struggle against players with better teams even if i feel like a better player than them, never the opposite. but saying they MIGHT implement handicap in the game in the future isn’t a good sign. ceo also said AI defending wasn’t touched and the ufl page recently said they can’t revert defending back to where it was pre patch but they’re working on it. there shouldn’t be anything to revert if it wasn’t touched, theres a lot of back tracking from the guys there at ufl. i loved the game the first couple weeks and want it to succeed but we need to call it how we see it if & hold them account if we genuinely want a good football game, simple as.

Play this game long enough and you will see the same 'game rigging' to induce gambling as u do in fifa. I used to love esports games but theyre ALL rigged to make greedy peoole in suits who never play the games richer. Its that simple, they are just rubbish these days. Had high hop 0:53 es and wanted ufl to be about skill, but it just isnt. Its the same as fifa but with much inferior gane play.
