My dear Nanni, it is so beautifull to watch you unboxing this kit with such a passion as if you where 11 or 12 years old. Enjoy the build. I am very excited to see how your Porsche 956 will look like 😌

Hello, great fun watching you get excited over Tamiya's new Porsche kit, as I was excited as well. I appreciate watching your vintage RC cars come to life again. Keep it up Nanni! Cheers from the USA!

This is not vintage but the flavor is that. Ciao

I too enjoyed your enthusiasm for opening this kit. I also agree that Berlinski is a good shop-I have been there twice while visiting Germany and always found it a friendly place, very well stocked with RC kits and parts. But I also ordered from them by mail and it works well, the prices are good and the postage cost correct. I look forward to seeing your kit built, I prefer rally cars so don't recognise this chassis.

Hi and tyou have been to Berlinsky, great!. This chassis is a '90 new product to replace the old style fiberglas tablet, those were the plastic conversion years so this chassis looks cheeper and not so interesting but it works very well!! Ciao

The kit goes together very well after sanding the edges of the deck plates, mine were really rough! It was a little disappointing they could not through in 6 or 7 bearings in the kit, thankfully I generally have a pile of them on hand. It is a big body car but it should look great once you get done with it!

And what about ESC? I know that they have to sell their op parts.... indeed the kit is not so expensive...I remember int he '80 the 1/12 was around 250/300 dollars (and those were heavy money) here in Italy and with no bearings and any other special part... Any how I'm so happy. Ciao Addam I go to play hahaha

Ciao, Great video, I might also make this my Xmas own present too;) Braccia Corte made me laugh out loud! :) Braccia Corte, Tasche Lunghe - would be the English version if that translates Ok? ;) We just need a Japanese translation for Tamiya Now, I think the differential is also better with three 1280 size bearings too! ... Great Vid, Grazie Nanni!

HAHAHA tasche lunghe (perfect) very clever! we also have the short version that is "Braccino" little arm. Thanks and Ciao!!

Amazing kit, thanks for showing! Nanny, will you go with the original "Racing" stickers - or will you try to get some aftermarket "Rothmans" ones? I'm curious ...
@NANNIRCАй бұрын
Rothmans would better.. do you think I can find them?

@@NANNIRC RC Retro did a video on this topic. He says he got according stickers from a company called MCI. I don't know whether they're available in Europe, though ...

I was wondering why your car was shipped open. No shrink wrap? I just got mine this week. I also have a Tamech, a Kyosho and now aTamiya kit. Thoughts?
@NANNIRCАй бұрын
Right good question.... I did not notice as once they were nor wrapped..... Ciao!!
@techspeedrcАй бұрын
Tamiya does not shrink wrap their models, that is something done by some local distributors.
@NANNIRCАй бұрын
@@techspeedrc That's Why!!
@alfredyost7972Ай бұрын
@@techspeedrc Every Tamiya kit that I have bought was shrink wrapped. I have bought direct from Tamiya USA and the kit was shrink wrapped. Maybe only in the USA the kits are shrink wrapped? Thoughts?
@techspeedrcАй бұрын
Yes, shrink wrapping is something Tamiya USA does, because the previous distributor MRC did it, but no other distributor around the world. Even 20 years ago in the early days of collecting vintage RC cars it amused people from the rest of the world that US collectors insisted that a kit wasn't new because it wasn't shrink wrapped while the rest of us hadn't ever seen a shrink wrapped model.
