Ramattra players are really just Rocket League players in disguise. If two ulting Ramattras meet, they come face to face and hold block until outside forces break the stalemate, the same rule as in Rocket League when two cars clash head to head, they hold down the gas and keep going forward until the tie breaks naturally or an outside force breaks it for them.

I feel like his biggest thing is that he's an anti shield character/brawler, at least in lower ranks. He has a field day against rein, sigma doesn't have a good day, and doom has a really bad day vs him. He also does really well against Winston if he ever tries to fight you, but most of them just keep their distance.

in low ranks his ult is just free ground, atleast with hog or sigma ult you can sleep them to continue contesting payload, but ram forces you to give them ground for a few seconds or die since his ult doesnt pause when slept and lower ranks are too bad to actually kill a properly blocking rammatra especially one with a pocket

@@justhit6673 That team does nothing for ram..He not slow like he was before so boosting my speed aint helping..Kiriko heals but ram needs utility..Ana and mercy helps me the most because he needs alot of healing to survive.Most so then any other tank because he is a easy target..Biggest hitbox in the game has hard counters..Ana,Junkrat,hog,orisa, like he seriously can't do vs orisa..He can't kill her but she can destroy him with eaze..I can't even block because javelin takes me out of block. Having luccio you missing out on alot of healing..All so I can use my ult and maybe win one team fight..I played hours of games and it's rare I get to whip out a whole team with ult..They team usually just splits up and shoot me from all angles..Or I got to choose who to kill and let the others go..But the whole time I am killing two the others are shooting me in the back or killing my support from a distance..That ult is great for stalling but it not this menacing all in nobody survives ult..I watch orisa literally be all in my face while ult is on and kill like it's not active..That character is fing broken..They can not leave her in this state..Especially if they are nerfing hog..Like it's hog and orisa game every other tank is wishing they could be as good as them

Maybe his block should have no movement speed reduction when in his ult? Rammattra's kit kinda just feels like old Orisa except the ult is just for you and it just pushes the damage into an AoE rather than boosting your active damage, and his block is a weaker fortify that has no cooldown. Also, his ult is so dumb. Did they test it against itself? It feels like it was rushed out and overlooked in testing. Or what if they made his block a partial block? As in, he holds one arm up, but you can still throw punches with the other arm, just at half the rate of the attack speed. Also, may I just say, I think Kiriko's cleanse is dumb and its design is anti-fun, useful or not. I think it should stop damage being taken from DoT attacks (as well as just making players invulnerable), but it shouldn't remove the anti-heal mechanic, it should just stop the damage being taken. That way, it cleanses them of damage dealt, but still leaves a window for opponents to counter and punish poor positioning after their DoT stops. It would still directly counter Junker Queen, which is stupid and goes completely in the face of the "no counter picks" philosophy, which I think the game desperately needs, but I think JQ just needs a Rework regardless.

The more I watch higher level of play, the more I'm sure of that healers are the actual keys to winning in this game. If I tanked like Flats does (and I do often tank... in my trash-tier ELO), I'd be dead in seconds. I have to take care of my own health most of the time as the healers are busy flanking and doing other stupid shit. Both them and the DPS pay little or no attention to any plays tanks try to make, and it often ends in misery. I mean, my game-awareness and mechanics (or lack thereof) are probably the main reason that I am where I am, but healers really CAN carry in this game.

Honestly if ramattra becomes meta i feel orisa will as well. Her kit is a decent counter to ramattra's, and she'd be good at forcing him to keep his distance with her cooldowns and her new buff to falloff means she can do a decent amount of damage as well as keeping him away. Personally I think we need to stop pretending Blozzard knows what they're doing. They changed the game and removed maps for this one character. Ramatra is obviously the reason we don't have control point maps anymore. His Ult range is as big as any of them were, and is basicly an "I win button" in those spaces. They also removed basicly every stun from the game so he would be fun to play. When have they ever made such sweeping changes for a single new hero?
