@RobertFisher19697 күн бұрын
@@teampyro911 Latency isn't near the problem for Bluetooth MIDI as it is for Bluetooth audio. I hardly ever notice it when playing. It might cause issues for the arpeggiator, though. I have a Bluetooth MIDI keyboard with an arpeggiator, and it stutters a lot when using the arpeggiator over Bluetooth. Although, that may just be a flaw in that particular controller.

Are those bubble buttons? If so, those are cheap and terrible and never last. Bubble buttons also have a tendency to crack so that icons or letters become munged and they feel weird to press. My InstantPot has these buttons and they’re starting to crack after a 100 presses or so. It’s really hard to imagine Korg would use that basic kind of bubble button, but that’s definitely what they look like.

God damn.. if there was one shitty interface type I thought we'd never have to see again, it would be membrane buttons. From the outside it looks cool, from the inside this is garbage. Why don't you try and bring us something new? Surely the current nano series is cheaper and functionally better. If you want to make a nice portable controller, make it actually good. Polyphonic aftertouch/pressure. Instead of 2 ribbon controllers, how about pressure sensinv pads or xy pad divisible into lanes across that whole area. I thought the top right was going to be tiny low profile encoders, but nope. A cheap interface like this doesn't need protection by folding up, I guess perhaps it provides protection from embarrassment.

Its incredible level of stupidity to make such device without Bluetooth MIDI. The cable only by its size is half the space of this keyboard and I don’t even started on how inconvenient it is to connect it to a phone (via cable) especially iPhone. Such small thing by its nature is for on the go scenario and should be connected in snap of the fingers and without cables hanging off and entangling you. KORG don’t count their money releasing such unfinished product. And it’s laughable to demonstrate a midi keyboard this compact with a laptop. If you scenario suggests that you can use laptop than you can use less compact but more functional midi keyboard (for example XKey 37). But it definitely would have its potential when you cant use a laptop or tablet - iPhone has a lot of for making music on the go. But to connect to iPhone via cable… on the go… :( and tripping over it the next minute? Think what you designing!
