And in case you want reasoning for why he'd be on the dev team, all I can give you is my eyewitness, the explosion effects of this skill is completely the same as I saw it as a sneakpeak in the SB2 disc. Sad I didn't get a screenshot, would make excellent content.

With how many people are using hakuda myself included at least for 2 slots it seems just worse at comboing, i'll admit the pressure is nice but thats about it imo. Doesn't matter now though anyways cause they said their nerfing it and zombie which I also just rolled on a different slot.
