You’ve just reminded me, first time I ever remember getting ASMR was when we were reading a book in class when I was probably age 9, and one person would read a page to the class, then someone else would read the next page, etc. There was one girl in my class who I always hoped the teacher would pick next because I always got ASMR from her. This was before I even knew it was called ASMR or exactly what was triggering it, but I knew her soft speaking was what made my head tingle.
