A couple of funny things: First, by that quote about simple dishes you just resumed the whole spirit of Italian cousine, so yeah probably it's a shared philosophy. And about that quote on twenty year of "steal", well probably the "secret formula" comes from this. When you spend a whole career mocking stuff in such a high accurate manner, you'll end up studying a lot and becoming a very skilled expert of the genre.

They kind of already did a take on Mussolini and fascist propaganda with "La Marcia Su Piazza Grande" from the "Italian Fol Metal" album, even though they are actually drawing a satirical comparison with Magalli, a famous presenter and writer from RAI (Italian national broadcasting agency). Also, the owl song is "Barbagianni" (Italian for barn owl).
