I remember making my mining barge in Space Engineers with only upwards thrusters and gyros. the Hip can take 10-15 rounds of 23mm frag IRL, same with the blackhawk, if you aren't hitting the ATRQ or engine compartment, yeah you'll tear up the troop bay, but you won't really damage the helo or hurt the pilots unless you hit critical linkages or the cockpit
