On their second date Erik wanted to take Emma out to do an activity. Initially he thought of hiking, but then got nervous about sitting in a car for a while and the conversation running dry. So instead he took her kayaking along the Charles River. They ended up so deep in conversation that drifted into an entirely different channel of the river and had quite a workout paddling back. I love how the opposite of his fear was true. They had so much in common and to talk about! This is also one of MANY stories that could not make it in the cut of their full film because there was too much goodness from their wedding day.
It was our first time on Nantucket EVER! So getting to spend it with these two and their families was a fantastic introduction. We loved taking the car onto the ferry and zipping around the little island streets. The beaches here are gorgeous with perfect waves and undeveloped stretches as far as many I've seen in New England. Sometimes I felt like I was in California to be honest.
The most memorable part of the whole wedding day without a doubt was the end. We all jumped into the pool fully clothed, for a pool dance party. Yes, we went in too (with a GoPro).

There were 20 people, and I bet that it's hard to tell based on the amount of energy!! We ended up feeling like part of the party and had such a blast :) All the love for these two.
