In this demo, I show my hand, and NAO is drawing it by analyzing coutour detection (OpenCV).
NAO can draw anything he sees !
Just give a pen and a paper to NAO, and you're ready !

You can buy a nao. Costs around 7,900 dollars. Just look up the company online. You pay for it and a few weeks later you have a baby robot.

I believe the photos were shown to see how accurately the robot was able to recreate what it was shown.

I know this is very far fetched but imagine if there was a app you plug these little awesome dudes into a computer and they learn from Google Search engines , You be like what was the 4th president of the United States and it would tell you, and it learned from all the info on Google . It would be so cool and it would randomly talk about stuff it learns off of google . It have to have a huge memory i know . I am just saying guys so don't hound me for thinking , I wish i could play with1 oftheses

You read into my mind, I'm about to release a new video where NAO draws my face. For spaces, there are 2 reasons for that. - 1 the pic took from NAO is 320*240, and the space where NAO can draw the biggest rectangle (equivalent to the screen) is 6cm by 11cm, which is very small - 2 pen and how it is held by NAO makes the move not precise. 10 pixels from img is equivalent to 0.5cm, so we can see small moves. If NAO would have a 50cm move range for his hands we would have a precise sketch.

+getmoney Its not a 'Japanese toy' and its not worthless. Robotics are not meant to be toys. This is supposed to be a learning/researching bot. The SDK it comes with makes developers integrate and code stuff easily. All through I'll agree that its way overpriced as a few better robots come WAY cheaper.
