What is Roblox?:
ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 8 to 18 year olds, Roblox is Kid friendly, PG, Family Friendly + No Swearing but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX - interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything - be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, to a giant pinball Mac!

the only problem i have with this free update is there’s most likely going to be more trollers, exploiters, scammers because if a person gets banned from the game they could just create another account and troll/exploit again..

and also u can just pay like a dollar or even get the 25 robux or get it through free robux websites where you download games on ur phone and then get 25 rbx from a group after, and play bloxburg again, it's literally not even that difficult to get 25 robux on roblox

When i first heard they announced it was being free on june 15th i was like 'JUNE 15TH?!?!' since they have had no hints or anything but then it got me thinking how they wanted a MAP JOB AND SKILL revamp before this and i honestly doubt this will be ready before it goes free and if they dont release the features that they said they wanted to, im personally guessing they have done this due to the backlash from the previous update and this is the equivalent of hitting the emergency button because they arent doing well they have just rushed to go free. With the marvelous moods gamepass i COMPLETELY agree with you and i think it takes away the whole main point that made SO many people buy it. before, even though your moods were low, you were completely fine but now you have to worry about fainting. the easiest fix i could think for this was maybe if you have marvelous moods you dont faint but you get reminded to boost your moods, maybe paying a fee time to time. The towing fee i dont mind, i always parked there anyways but they could have added more parking spaces, maybe ask the community where they wanted them? they say it was for exploiters but as they also said roblox is helping that loads and im sure there are SOOO many ways, Other ways, to do this. i appreciate the faster mopeds but the whole efficiency thing is dumb, if its not broken dont fix it, in the nicest way possible, they need to focus on features the community wants/NEEDS. like a school and a map revamp and HOLLOW. GABLE. ROOFS. and these features should have been in the release version. if they revert them now however, it to late. they should have done it sooner. maybe whilst they were SILENT. on twitter. anyways thanks for reading my rant if you did ❤

I honestly thought it would be free earlier. Having it free during most of the summer makes sense because that's when Americans are off of school and have free time, so they can capitalize on that

Bloxburg being free is insane. Knowing that the developers don’t care about the bad updates they created, and not listening to the community that has been playing for years, really hurts the community and the player count can drop. More predators can come to the game. Obvs they are, but it’s for robux, so there’s less, now if kids are coming in or anyone that doesn’t have robux, more predators and hackers can get into the game and cause dangers. The banning won’t even help, since it will be free soon and they can just make a new account and go on it again. These new devs just “bought” us with there cool beginning updates, making us happy, just to show us that they don’t care and now is just backfiring and making updates that the players don’t want. I bet half of these no robux players rlly care anymore, or they can get robux eventually playing pls donate or other games. (Not trying to hate on that, Ik it’s hard getting donos in pls donate). Gotta rant too😭

I feel like bloxburg shouldn't be free yet as they should update the map if they are going to do that first so we get the chance to play first and I get they want it to be free as it's going to be 10 this year on my birthday (November 4) so i kinda get it

love you for posting this. don't know if you read my Twitter, but I have far too many opinions on this 😭 as a disabled individual, the fainting and paying for it in an escape game without a hospital feels pretty disrespectful. all I've thought about since this update is the content creators and their issues with the game now. we got some great updates until this and I really don't understand... I've only played the game less than a handful on times since the last update because it just isn't the same anymore 😔

Right, this is meant to be an escape and then to have to deal with something you struggle with in real life is a punch in the face. It's a life simulation, but we don't want to ACTUALLY experience the hardships of life in it, we want to escape them in a world we get to create! I hope they fix things 😓

I understand where ur coming from with this but thats kinda what roblox games are and sometimes not even on purpose (mean people in the chat, resetting, etc) i dont think that roblox is the right platform for u but there are other games like animal crossing that dont mimic real life and arent disrespectful

also i want people to remeber, as its kinda similar, the waterslide update was a update back in 2021 met with fan backlash after a month of no updates (bc of froggy having covid) this update changed the pool to a plastic color (you can still see it on above ground pools currently (funny how no ones cared about that XD)) the devolopers would eventually turn it back to normal in the november update (3 months later) and everyone was happy. i bet they are going to fix the bills and the fainting feature i just feel they havet due to it being a main point in the update (similar to the water.) just give a bit of time and hopefully somthing good will come from it.

The current updates honestly rly annoy me. First of all, I don’t agree with the towing fees. It’s just annoying and it makes it difficult for new players who don’t understand the game, which is the complete opposite of what they’re trying to do! The fainting fees I understand, but make it less money. Plus add a feature in the marvelous moods game pass that allows you to turn the fainting off, like you said. Plus I feel like we should have gotten a hospital before we got the fainting. Plus, I would have fine when they made it so lower levels got more money if Ty hey higher levels didn’t get a decrease and that people with higher levels still got paid more. That way it helps the new players out without crapping on the veteran players. And then the fact that they’re making it free?! I’m fine with the fact the game will be free eventually, but this seems way too soon. First they have to fix the problems that they have caused, plus they need to update the map. It feels like they did these things all out of order. I just feel bad for the new players who have to play Bloxburg at one of its worst times if not the worst. I think it’ll drive the new players they want off. Plus veteran players have been quitting the game since they have been neglecting us. And worst of all they haven’t even been listening, like you have mentioned.

The first times I heard bloxburg was going free was before, many many times. And I never believed it because it never happen; But this also means that exploiters and hackers can go on alt accounts and make bloxburg a bit more dangerous. (Just an assumption) I also agree that people who spent money on gamepasses and the game shouldn't be getting all of these flaws and disadvantages. I spent so much robux on this game and let's hope that bloxburg dosen't get worse after the next update. 😔😔

my only issue with current bloxburg is just the community itself. this is seen in other communites too but a fear i have is that because theres a bigger team half of the community (ones who lack brain cells XD) expects the next update to have 40 building revamps and 8 new cars. ill explain but in pre-2022 bloxburg when we got like the toddler update or even the many clutter item updates (with items we coudnt use) and everyone was happy about it. now because theres a team everyone expects a big new update every time, when that just cant happen. and when these people see its just some new items, maybe a new food or a redesigned apple tree they get mad because of it. this is a major fear i have over the eventual map revamp is that everyone has been hyping themselves up for a giant map, luxury condos and beachside plots when in actuality its the same map shape, maybe a few new buildings with everything else having a nice coat of paint and having new interiors. this causes people to be like WE WANTED A NEW TRAIN STATION NOT A NEW ICE CREAM SHOP!!! XD and then they quit the game again. its just kinda dumb. alright, now for bloxburg becoming free. it probably shouldnt. mostly due to the fairly small majority of players who dont have the game, its one of robloxs classic's thats always front page every single day since its release 8 YEARS AGO. back in 2020-2021 christmas events there was around 300k people playing every day. i bet if they make it free theres gonna be a minimal change just a few extra alt accounts in the game.

I kinda agree on the expecting huge updates thing, but only a little. Some of the updates we've gotten have been REALLY small or disappointing with the new company. And maybe that's because their saving steam for when we do get bigger updates, but still. The updates lately have felt worse to me than when we had just 2 devs. I don't think we'll get HUGE updates unless they further enlarge the team, but I expect not to be horribly disappointed 2 updates in a row, idk.

thank you for this!! its so important for the playerbase to have content creators speaking up for them! it really feels like theyve been favoring their free players lately when they can't even play yet. this update hurt the whole community in so many different ways and they won't even listen after saying they would, i hope they revert it since so many people have left the game and community, they made these changes when no one asked for them instead of making the changes people actually wanted and i hope they see the consequences

This whole thing is mainly because the owner of bloxburg pretty much sold the game over to gamefam which if you haven’t seen it before gamefam basically has a whole reputation for killing games like Funky Friday for example, the game legit got 0 updates until the very end of 2023 and by then people barley played the game anymore

I also think bloxburg should be free bc people have probably been waiting ages for it to come out of beta to be able to play, but I think people that have brought bloxburg should have things that new players can’t have e.g better plots and maybe more money when you work? also early!

After recently stepping away from bloxburg i was excited to hear it was free because may be i would play more now that a lot of my friends would have acess to it. But since i kinda tuned out everything about bloxburg i was shocked to hear of all the changes. In stardew valley theres kinda of like goals and progreesion to the game so it needs to be paced and spaced out ( why you can faint). But bloxburg (as i remeber it) doesnt really have that. Any goals are vauge and set by the player. So adding fainting can only add nothing or get in the way of a players goals. Because if they are self set and no progression there really is no reason to pace them out. I think this a result of the new (well not new anymore but like new when i was playing) group that bought bloxburg being disconnected from the fanbase. Glad to see your still making videos keep up the hard work naomi! ❤

Hi! From what I understand about reporting plots, if they report and nothing wrong or bad is found on the plot, the reporter is banned and not you! At least that’s what I think it is unless an overhaul has happened with the system! Have a nice day 😀

9:25 didn’t they change the whole economy to make it easier for the new players to progress? like, the devs made it harder for older players but easier for new players to make more money (like how overall work experience level is the only thing that matters, not the individual job level which ig makes it easier for new players??). at least that’s the reason that the devs gave for the whole change in the first place. uhhh i might be wrong though because i havent seen anyone actually compare how much they made pre-update and after the update as a new player, sooo!!!!! ANYWAY! i really like your sandbox idea!!!! i think it’d also help roleplayers find people who also want to roleplay instead of just finding dead servers where ppl only build :] oh also i feel like maybe a gamepass could be useful? like a gamepass sort of like neighborhoods that lets you have an individual/private server that allows you to build freely without potentially worrying about exploiters or whatever ppl worry about when it comes to a free bloxburg!!! idk i just feel like that idea blew my mind bc i need something like that badly …

I have played Bloxburg for 6 years continuously up until recently as I'm not happy with this update and some other updates. I think these new developers are desperate to keep the game alive after the player count has been dropping due to their stupid updates making the game unnesscesarily complex. Also, as ANYONE can now play the game there will be more trollers/possibly exploiters, and people may create alternate accounts to do some weird stuff.

I feel like the game becoming free makes playing the game less enjoyable in a way. There will be more trollers and rude people in general. The game was unique and making it free makes it like all of the other RP games on Roblox that people get bored of, quickly.

(long rant incoming) This whole situation is incredibly frustrating... Many people argue that it is not that big of a deal because it's only 25 robux, but for me at least, it's not just about the robux because quite honestly, I don't care about that. It's just the fact that the new developers aren't listening when the community is so clearly expressing their dislike for the updates. It kinda feels like a slap to the face especially because we, the ones who bought early access, were the ones supporting the game for 8 years and bringing in as much as 300k players on good days. And obviously I don't want to sound selfish or greedy, I am happy for the new players that are going to be able to play Bloxburg, but as a recognition for the support and money thousands of people put into the game while it was still in Beta, making Bloxburg what it is now, we get a driving couch, really?? And of course, I don't want to bash the new owners, but I believe they don't fully understand the purpose of the game. While before, Bloxburg was mainly a building game, I feel like the new owners are trying to turn it into a role-play game like Brookhaven. And yes, Bloxburg has always been a role-play game, but it revolved more around the realism of the players actual builds rather than the map/game-play itself. I really doubt Bloxburg will listen to its audience and change the updates because we have to be realistic, Bloxburg is now owned by a company; companies want to make money. More people playing the game equals more revenue. It sucks but we can only hope that this upcoming update might revive some of the dead servers, that's probably the only pro about this whole thing. I'm just really hoping that the owners recognize Bloxburgs uniqueness and why people play the game, because right now, it sounds like they're trying to make another carbon copy of Brookhaven or Livetopia, which I think many people can agree, is not what we want.

I have mixed thoughts about this and some of the other decisions they've made (updates). First of all, increased risk for exploiters is a no-no in my opinion. Having some here and there is okay but having them more constantly, is not. Also, how come we haven't got a school or hospital? I know that we've *requested* it and I know that they are *not always a guarantee* but as you said, It would make sense logically. I'm okay with a scene or even something alike but, as I know, it takes a long time to actually get it finished. I'm glad this gives Bloxburg a chance to actually participate in events (besides like RBB as it "was" behind a paywall). *I agree with Bloxbuilds (commented somewhere here)

Rant time lol. Im honestly upset. I dont want bloxburg to go free and it's not because i dont want people to experience it but because it was a game to get away. You wouldn't really have people bother you or anything or try and scam you or trick and it was just a game you could go into and just build your heart out. BUT with the stupid fainting, money making and jobs and so many more just not good things it makes me more stressed and wanting to avoid the game. It's a lot harder now to make money and keep your moods up so you dont faint while working is really a hassle and add so much more time trying to earn money before and we don't need that. I love to build and I done many designs and stuff for builds in bloxburg and i dont want to lose that through the uneasy ness and stress. They should let marvelous mood gamepass holders be able to turn off fainting especially when trying to earn moeny and to make certain servers for building and rps and stuff so we builders can be by ourselves with no trouble and the rps can be all together again. Sorry for the rant but since bloxburg has done this crappy stuff it has just made me so upset at bloxburg and sad I put so much time and money into it if it were to go to waste and i dont want to lose what we had. The golden age needs to come back and if they are gonna give us something for paying robux it better be something worth it not something stupid. I kinda wish they would let the people that paid get to turn off fainting that should be what we get but it wont happen unfortunately.
