A tribute megamix I made of Naoki Maeda (the head sound designer for DDR)'s time at Konami from 1998-2013. The man is an absolute genius, and my biggest inspiration as a musician.

I guess they wouldn't make more games on Nintendo Wii, Xbox, and PS2 in 2012 just like the other games by Ubisoft just dance to me. 😔

Wasn't he the one who started Dance Evolution/ Dance Masters?
@beatmania3rdmix8 жыл бұрын
Yep. That was his project. Konami decided it wasn't worth investing in, so he left the company and now works for Capcom making music for CROSSxBEATS. Interestingly enough, all of his music is still in the newest DDR, DDR A, unlike the other musicians who left Konami.

Weird, since they are still supporting DanceEvolution (though not as much as their other series but songs are still being released on that game)
@beatmania3rdmix8 жыл бұрын
Yes, they are still supporting it in JP and Asia. They haven't supported it in 6 years here in America. Hiroyuki Togo, pinkpong, DJ SIMON, U1-ASAMi, jun, SLAKE, game designer Tak Fujii and more famously Hideo Kojima left Konami too.

U1(aka U1 ASAMi) has been releasing numerous songs for Bemani (including the latest in DDR A - Electric Dance System Music) Egoist 440 was HIS boss song.

He was on one of the CROSSxBEATS games too I think. One of the newer ones. I think he's freelance.
