This video is heartbreaking in itself. In hindsight, it was so obvious Naomi was struggling to maintain a continuous thought, where she had always been such a wonderful communicator in both interviews and songwriting. I am sad beyond belief that this beautiful woman had to suffer so much with her depression and failed treatments. My only consolation at this tremendous loss are the words of a song that comes to mind “…the only scars in Heaven, are on the hands that hold you now.” 🙏🏻 RIP beautiful Naomi.

The way she’s talking sounds like the effect of some of her meds she had to take. I’m sure she was on some pretty strong stuff. I did read somewhere too tho that she had had some strokes, which could also affect her speech. Either way it is very sad to watch ☹️

AW poor Naomi, it looks like her health was declining, but she had a heart ❤️ of gold. She loved her family foremost , and music that brought Wyonna and her together. She was so honest about her struggles, and was so incredibly inspiring about mental health. I think her strength, wisdom, knowledge, and her warm personality will never be forgotten. Sorry to disappoint, but people, when they die, do NOT become angels. Angels are beings created by God to serve and worship Him. This is made clear in The Bible. A person who dies will either enter into the presence of the Lord, is they have a personal relationship with God's Son Jesus Christ. Those who don't have that personal relationship will spend eternity in darkness/Hell with Satan. Hell was made by God for the devil and his angels/demons. Only those who reject Jesus (by their own choices) will enter into eternal damnation.

@@pamelaperkins2507 thanks for stating Biblical facts! I pray Naomi is in heaven. However, it’s disingenuous to say everyone who dies will make it through the pearly gates! Suggest people read the entire book of Romans to see what they need to do: 1. Confess sins 2. Believe in Christ as their Lord & Savior 3. Profess faith (outward display of inward change), 4. Receive Christ into your heart. God/Jesus/Holy Spirit wants a daily relationship with us. He will provide us a hedge of protection if we lean on him! Suicide is one of those mysteries. Mental illness intersecting with Thou shall not kill (even yourself) Commandment. God is compassionate & merciful. That brings great comfort to the friends & families who have a deceased loved one.

There's a lot of wisdom in what Ms Naomi is sharing. Stories connect us to one another. If you ever had a teacher or professor that knew their stuff, but added no personal stories or examples, chances are you aren't going to remember the information they are teaching. I was thinking how even Jesus shared Truth in His Parables. I believe she's 100% correct that we are wired for connecting to one another. Naomi Judd was the most beautiful and precious Lady in the world. I loved everything about her. Her smile, laughter, her gift of gab, how funny she was, her caring heart. I could go on and on. She was a few years older then Me, but she always looked like a teenager. She had to take on so much in her life starting when she was a tiny girl. I can relate to all of what she's talking about. I lived in an old stone house with no insulation when I was a kid. Doing laundry with a wringer washing machine. Heating water on a woodstove. In this video I could plainly see something was very wrong. He little hands were shaking so much, It was hard for her to remember things. It was like she was in a thick fog and struggling to find her way out, and she looked scared. It was like she was over medicated. I wish I could have been there, put my arm around her, and tell her don't be afraid, I'll help you. I sort of laughed when she said they should video her from the other side, that was her bad side. That sweet lady never had a bad side whatsoever. Rest well sweetheart. No more pain, no more being scared, and no more struggling. You fought all you could, your soul was too tired to stay strong anymore. Let God and Jesus hold you and carry you in their arms. You sing with the angels from now on.

It sounds like the shock treatment didn't help. I'm against them. Talk show David Cavett had heavy depression, struggled his whole life. He had shock treatment and it saved his life, he was able to live a normal life after the treatment, plus medicine and a long life. I guess everyone is different. My girlfriend had shock treatment and it didn't help and she was always commiting suicide. When she was on medicine for her bipolar she was normal but she would not stay on it, it's part of the disease. I wonder today if she's a live. Most people with depression have great compassion. Love Naomi, I'm sure her daughters had a hard time watching her mother struggle. I know Ashley struggles with depression, Wynonna also did but her music and her happy marriage has helped her alot. I think Ashley struggles more. It's a horrible disease, I know I struggle also, everyday , I have to give it to God, helps me alot through it all. I'm so blessed I don't have the disease like Naomi had. She's at peace now.

I'm just wo during uf every millionaire that were dealing with depression.. if they were to help the poor with needs like food .. shelter .or health care . Like buy 3 homes for 3 homeless poor ppl . Would that help them feel more blessed ? Or maybe help them feel loved more.. I don't understand how or why anyone could harm themselfs or harm anyone eles. This is quite difficult for me because I suffer from the same mental illnesses that Naomi had. And I know the pain and suffering that she was probably in when she took her life. It gets to me because she was 76. She had made it to 76 with this horrible disease. So I cried to my husband that she had died and he said I didn't know you were a big fan? I said well I was a fan but I never knew she suffered with mental illness. Sometimes I Wonder if I will make it to 76. There's an 80% chance that I won't. So the odds are already stacked against me. Some medications actually make you worse. I was medicated for over twenty years with every antidepressant known to man and never truly felt better about anything. I either felt too much or nothing at all. I reached a point where I said NO MORE. I got off everything and it’s been a year and half. I take natural products like Gabatrol if I feel I need it and haven’t felt this well in twenty years. Sadly, this lady couldn’t find the right cocktail for her mental state.

Anxiety and depression are not a mental problem it’s excuse to call yourself a victim. We all affected from our childhood upbringing or life trauma and we need to deal with our emotions, like unforgiveness , bitterness, anger, fear. Bipolar and mental illness is a victim mentality. Psych drugs are cocktail drugs, alcohol and street drugs are all the same. Drugs don’t cure you . It destroys life’s and your brain. It a big lie. It’s evil. My brother got on these evil psych drugs just to get SSI so he don’t have to work. And it amplified his emotions abc he’s worse off with these evil psych drugs . No different then street drugs or alcohol. It amplifies your emotions.
