Kind of mystery .... she's shy (now more relaxed & accustomed to ..), but somehow she talks with a person asking a question in a friendly way. She's a knack or trick to lead a conversation. Genius! Only come closer the micro! At max volume otherwise ..
She is so young and it seem harder for the younger first slammers to manage pressure but I hope she can stay the same. She has that kind of disarming charm that reminds me of Evonne Goolagong , Chanda Rubin , Kim Clisters and LI Na.

@@regulusarcturus --- Naomi does speak Japanese. Maybe not difficult sentences but she surely can carry everyday conversations in Japanese well. @@regulusarcturus Wrong, Naomi Osaka moved to New York when she was 3, other than that she is raised in a predominantly Japanese household and culture. She fully understands Japanese, but speak a little. Thats why she don't need translators when Japanese sport journalist ask her questions. She is like all other asian-americans, they speak perfect american-english, but they hold on to their cultural heritage.

A shy lady. Would be nice to see more traditional ladies like this. If you listen to the 'tennis podcast' , which has some virtues I admit, it's nice not to hear a female athlete just being her shy self without having to defend why she is not some strong woman, unlike Katherine Whitaker waxing lyrical about gender and left wing politics ad nauseam, and just talk about tennis. Is there even one tennis podcast or broadcast where Ms Whitaker can refrain from making some inane comment about Donald Trump, as if her politics is somehow relevant? One can only hope this delightful lady does not get drawn into the regressive left ideology of feminist and mangina politics, as the years go by in her career.
@tomsriver28385 жыл бұрын
"it's nice not to hear a female athlete just being her shy self without having to defend why she is not some strong woman" You can be shy and still be strong. You complain about Katherine Whitaker bringing politics into tennis, yet you're the one talking about politics in the comment section of a tennis channel. "One can only hope this delightful lady does not get drawn into the regressive left ideology" Hmm...Fighting for women's rights, women's empowerment and women's equality is somehow, for you, a regressive ideology ?? Let me guess...In your ideal world, women should stay in the kitchen, take care of the children and obey to their husband. You know...Progressive wright wing ideology.
