The guy don't like drama and that's what these shows are about drama. He is a different kind of man with different standards. I don't see anything wrong with that. She is at a different place in her life where she have a man she respects. A man who treats his woman the right way a woman would respect him. I don't think he is controlling. I just see him seeing things differently. Yes those things she wanted isn't good to damn sweet, she have a man who would tell her straight.
