Did you go hiking at all in Joshua Tree or was it too hot?

Barely, the only "hike" was Skull Rock, otherwise it was just way too hot

I definitely want to go back! I'm not sure... we drove from LA to Joshua Tree (for 2 nights) then Vegas.
