Because I’m not a big fan of showbizz, boxing voice is ok but I have my reasons , and I like I few other smaller ones like mills city but I feel like I know more then him , and I like Greg Hackett (Philly) just sharing some of the ones I watch. Unlike other boxers, Inoue does not aim for a decision, but fights for KO. Naturally, he enters his opponent's territory, so there is a risk of being hit by a bullet. But Inoue was not hit by a bullet except for the first round down. Other boxers would be hit by many bullets if they aim for KO in every match. People who watch fighters who always outbox each other may not understand this. Inoue has said before: "If I want to win by decision, I can win without getting punched. But the fans don't want to see that, so I'm going to take the risk and go for KO.” This is the mentality of a special fighter.

Yeah, Naoya is simply too fast and all he needs to do is not to take risk and uses his jabs to wear his opponents down. But, he chooses to make the fights more exciting and in the sport of boxing, if you're in your opponents' firing range, you are more than likely get hit. This is what makes Naoya an exciting boxer to watch.

Inoue is the complete package. incredibly athletic talented and skillful. He fights with the Yamato-damashii, Japanese warrior spirit‼Hes really hurting guys out there. I felt sorry for Nery after his head went back like that. Him doubling up the right hand on the last shot and generating so much power in it is insane. He has that fast twitch and dense muscle in his arms...explosive power.

Inoue started at 108, any talk about Tank Davis is a, "are you kidding me man?" Come-on, let him get featherweight champion's respect first... that's quite a leap for this guy, who has to top-out somewhere... I wish him the best, and it seems to me that he might have to go to 126 to get to his saturation point... however, as these guys mention, we have Pac Man as an example of at least what might be possible in terms of moving up in weight... but hell, we've had a, or rather, the, Henry Armstrong before, in Hammerin Hank himself... who was an eyelash away from wining titles in 4 weight classes when the were only 8 divisions in total...What Inoue lacks is a Tank Davis level MEGA match, but don't get crazy... and I think in the end, it would be very imprudent of a traditional Japanese' fighter to do something so foolhardy (to put himself at an irrational disadvantage).

I am so glad you said that. Boxing is a world sport. The only thing I hear from the haters is He doesn't fight in the U.S.. So if Mike had fought in Las Vegas and not at the Tokyo Dome, the outcome would have been different? A knockout win in Tokyo is no different than a knockout win in Las Vegas. He doesn't need to depend on the cards! I've been following boxing since the early 70s, and I have not seen a fighter from Japan like this since "Buzzsaw" Yamabe

Moving up new div without a tune up fight and dismantle two unifed champions so easy and become undisputed! This was the best canelo weve seen in a few years. Fighting in his traditional style completely different to the one he adopted to control the fights recently (no obvious programmed combos like the double jab feint looping right hand). This was old canelo in a more worn body which is all you can ask for at this point. Mungia was able to bring the fight out of him that he hasn’t needed to of late so props to him. Rly enjoyed this fight and believe its a win and performance that will age well.

I agree, Canelo would beat Benavidez. If you notice, Benavidez wasn't on fire about challenging Canelo. I wouldn't either if I saw what he did to Jaime Munguia. Benavidez star is rising. By fans attaching his name to Canelo, his status/bankroll is rising. A loss to Canelo would knock him down to a lower rung. Joel Diaz said Benavidez team really isn't looking to make the fight, if they really wanted it, it'd be made. Remember 'the Mexican monster' didn't knock out Caleb Plant, and Plant doesn't even have a big punch. The smart move would be to wait for Canelo to age a bit and show real signs of slowing down, then make the fight.
@bengolfs1

I agree that we all need to appreciate what and who Canelo is, because his departure will leave a gigantic void in the sport of boxing. I just don't see anyone who will become the next PPV star in the sport. Ryan Garcia is a cheater and headcase and too erratic; Tank has limited appeal and is not busy enough; David Benavidez lacks the Resume and lacks the intangibles; and guys like Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua are both aging out as well....

Asians are build a little different physiologically, 31 is not much to worry about. He can probably box till he is 40. Might be not as well as he is now but until 35/36 he'll still be freaking amazing. Just take the example of Pacquiao and Donaire. Asians age a little slower.
