Mick Harris the god of blast. No triggers, just beating the shit out of his drums!
@100720188 жыл бұрын
All the drummers today with their impossibly fast blast beats, mind blowing fills, and incredibly tight double bass don't sound a tenth as good as Mick Harris just beating the living fuck out of everything as hard as he can.

No doubt. Micky actually doesn’t over rush the songs like Danny. Sadly modern Napalm death, while still rather damn good, doesn’t carry the weight or groove from this era. Everything’s too rushed and shortcutted. Micky takes the slow parts and just maxes them out.

I had never heard such speed and guttural vocals before, juxtaposed with his proper English accent song introductions in between I just couldn't stop laughing, it was sooo great. Now that it's over 30 years later I realize just how innovative and legendary they were back then. Good times!
