In 1995, aboard the USS Nashville, my band took our equipment down a three story ladder, near the bottom of the ship, to practice playing really loud. I totally relate!!!

The is the best doom album in a long time. The songs stay bone crushingly, ear shatteringly heavy but they really add interesting arrangements and atmosphere to these songs. That's what a lot of bands TRY to do, but Ahab actually pulls it off. To the point that there isn't a bad note on this record, and it feels everything is placed perfectly.
