I think Dust Bolt was better than many of the bands they’re compared to. The singing groove and shouted back up vocals (on their other songs) are what put it over the top for me.

Fuck yeah man! I'm a child of the 80's and remember the golden age of thrash and metal. Bands like this and Municipal Waste are keeping it alive. Don't know how anyone makes money in this business anymore though. Looking forward to seeing these guys with Obituary in October in Baton Rouge.

I wrote a song called Mass Confusion in 2001, but it sounds pretty lame, using MIDI piano etc. Nevertheless, I shared it in front of about 100 people at a songwriting workshop at Berklee College of Music that year. The professor got on the stage and said in front the 100 people that my song caused mass confusion.
