Ok I’m a bit late on my small yet little review. Delain has definitely changed over the past few years a little darker and heavier.I Love it!! As mentioned in other posts Charlotte’s voice is as smooth as silk and yet she gets to the deep inner self and gets a great grunt out.Very cool Charlotte! The song is powerful with Timo’s guitar playing,heavy drumming from Joey.Otto and Martin keep the song flowing and without a missed beat.They are Golden. @@arthursimsa9005 I was tired of symphonic metal for some time because everything sounded the same, so I see what u mean. Of course it's 'pop symphonic metal' so you can't help but thinking of nightwish. BUT in the case of Delain, the singer has a very distinctive voice and is here for the first time growling and reaching great high notes, the melodies work very well, the sound is heavier than before, they try new elements, and that gives a whole new sound to Delain. Also the video really cool. So To me this is more interesting than a lot of bands, and i started a few months ago to listen this genre again, thanks to Delain.

Sad to say but it's official: Delain has officially been broken up. They are all going their separate ways, with the keyboardist and cofounder keeping the name Delain alive with his solo projects. Honest opinion here: I always saw Delain as sort of an “ok“ band. Solid Female Fronted Symphonic Metal, yet nothing special. Bellowloudly Really? I think that Endless Forms was their second best album, right after Once. I dont really the first two albums at all, and Century Child is good but not as good IMO. It has beauty of the beast which is a good song, but one song doesnt save the entire album.

@@oreolamp5676 Once was when they lost their unique sound. Very generic album. Nightwish with Tarja on the first three albums is uniquely beautiful, now they're just boring and sound like every other female fronted band.

@@BananaCake26 I really disagree with you. I think the first two albums were their three worst albums. Sure, they sound different to now, but i dont think that different is good. I really like their albums after (and including) Century Child, and i think thats when they really changed their style.

Oh this is awesome!! The craziest thing is this year not only many Metal band launched their new album but it seems like they're all ON FIRE with their albums. There's so many good Metal song this year wich is AWESOME!! 💪👀🔥🎧

I love how Delain is growing into somewhat prog rock but still keeping pop hooks in their songs like the older stuff.

Finally Delain can be called a good and deserving symphonic metal band. Those high vocals, these growls, the choir part, the amazing riffing, the decent orchestral-ish arrangements... I can finally be on the train of liking this. This new direction is a direction I can enjoy.

Think this has to be by far the coolest and best Delain music video since "April Rain" and that is saying a lot as I really loved the bridge imagery that one and how they stylished it and "April Rain" is also my favorite Delain song. This one is definitely a top 5 music wise though without a doubt.
